Ind vs Ban Only Test Live Update : Despite scoring an unbelievable triple century in his last Test against England at Chennai, 25-year-old Karun Nair is most likely to miss today’s India vs Bangladesh Only Test at Hyderabad.

This is to make way for Ajinkya Rahane, who makes a comeback after a finger injury ruled out the Mumbai batsman for the fourth and fifth Tests against England.

India skipper Virat Kohli confirmed that the team would bring in Ajinkya Rahane ahead of Karun Nair for the Ind vs Ban Only Test.

In a press conference ahead of the Hyderabad Test match, Virat Kohli said: “Karun did well but we cannot ignore what Jinx has done over the past two years. He has put in lots of hard work and has performed.”

Virat Kohli further said that the Indian team management is committed to support players coming back from injury. “The big challenge is to ensure that we back players making a comeback and keep the youngsters in the squad and groom them. We are lucky that we have a bench strength. We have a pool of 20-30 players from which we can choose,” the Indian captain further said.

Although tourists Bangladesh will be playing what will be a historic first test ever in India, Virat Kohli said that Team India will not take them for granted.

“It is a historic moment. Bangladesh are a good side. They have good batsmen. They did well in New Zealand. But they don’t play enough cricket. They should play more to understand the mindset of Test cricket,” said the Indian captain.

Virat Kohli showered praises on his bowlers who have scripted Team India to some fantastic victories in home series recently. “It is the bowlers who have won us Test matches over the last one year. They have taken 20 wickets,” Virat Kohli stressed prior to the Ind vs Ban Only Test 2017 at Hyderabad.
