Ind vs NZ 5th ODI Highlights : India demolished New Zealand by 190 runs to win the fifth and final ODI at Vizag to take the series 3-2.

Chasing 270, New Zealand were embarrassingly bowled out in the Ind vs NZ 5th ODI at Vizag Oct 29, 2016 for a paltry total of 79 in just 23.1 overs as leg-spinner Amit Mishra ran through them with dream figures of 6-2-18-5.

On what was a slow turner where the ball was stopping on to the bat, India won the crucial toss, and elected to bat first.

The hosts gave debut to 26-year-old off-spinner Jayant Yadav, who came in for Hardik Pandya. Jasprit Bumrah came back in the place of Dhawal Kulkarni.

More trouble began for the Kiwis after their Skipper Kane Williamson was lured to loft a flighted delivery from Axar Patel into the hands of long off for 27 in the 15th over. After this, it was all over to Amit Mishra to destroy the batting line up with a mixture of turning leggies and googlies.

Amit Mishra, first had Ross Taylor edging a late cut to MS Dhoni and in two balls time, foxed BJ Watling for a duck with a googly.

Debutant Jayant Yadav joined the party to reduce the Kiwis to 74 for 6 when he had Corey J Anderson lbw with a straighter one for his maiden international wicket.

Amit Mishra then bowled Jimmy Neesham with one that was drifting away in the air and turning in sharply off the pitch to go through the gate. Tim Southee was stumped out for a duck, beaten by the turn and flight in a big shot.

The leggie got his second five-wicket haul in ODIs when Ish Sodhi top edged a slog sweep. Axar Patel finished the Ind vs NZ 5th ODI at Vizag Oct 29, 2016 match with an arm ball to clean up Mitchell Santner.

Amit Mishra got both the Man of the Match and the Man of the Series awards.
