Six overs later, Dinesh Chandimal was bowled round his pads, beatn by the turn and drift by an Amit Mishra leg break.

India kept on chipping away at the wickets rapidly with left-handers Lahiru Thirmanne and Jehan Mubarak falling in the space of five deliveries. Lahiru Thirimanne was brilliantly caught by Cheteshwar Pujara at silly point off a leading edge in a flick shot while Jehan Mubarak was caught at second slip poking at an away going delivery from Ishant Sharma.
