The Northern Knights looked hot at the start of the tournament given the way they thrashed their opponents during the qualifying stage. However in the main tournament, the Northern Knights have lost two and won one match to find themselves on the brink of elimination.

The Barbados Tridents having lost three key players to other sides in CLT20 2014 looked like a terribly weak team. They have lost all their three matches so far although one of them was a tied game against the Cape Cobras which the Barbados Tridents eventually lost in the Super Over.

Northern Knights Squad: Kane Williamson, Daniel Harris, Anton Devcich, Daniel Flynn (C), BJ Watling (WK), Scott Styris, Daryl Mitchell, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Trent Boult, Jono Boult, G Aldridge, Mitchell Santner, Brad Wilson

Barbados Tridents Squad: Dilshan Munaweera, Neil McKenzie, Raymon Reifer, Jonathan Carter (WK), James Franklin, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Ashley Nurse, Kyle Mayers, Rayad Emrit (C), Ravi Rampaul, Shane Dowrich, Jeevan Mendis, William Perkins, Elton Chigumbura
