Profile of Sam Robson (written on Sep 11, 2014)

Sam Robson is the latest opening partner of Alastair Cook in Test Cricket. This Australian-born cricketer who plays for Middlesex is not an attractive looking right-handed batsman by any means. Sam Robson has a very old fashioned kind of game of defending most of the times and playing a few shots here and there.

Sam Robson is credited for playing for Australia Under 19 in 2007 as well before moving to England. His younger brother Angus Robson plays for Leicesetershire and is famous for smashing a quick century against the touring India team in 2014.
