Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami also did a fair job taking a couple of wickets each.
Leg-spinner Karn Sharma got a couple of tail-end wickets while R Ashwin got a wicket caught by the keeper down the legside. The top scorer for Cricket Australia was opener cum Wicket Keeper Ryan Carters who scored a patient 58 from 151 balls.
