England have won the toss and elected to bowl first in the 2nd Test at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, Grenada. Skipper Alastair Cook reckoned that the pitch has moisture under it which should assist his pace bowlers. As expected the visitors have made one change with Moeen Ali replacing the injured James Tredwell.

West Indies had a big blow going into this match as they lost fast bowler Jerome Taylor through a shoulder injury. Replacing him is going to be gentle fast bowler Shannon Gabriel and not the exciting Carlos Brathwaite. The hosts have also made one more change which was known well before the match with leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo coming in the place of Sulieman Benn, who was dropped from the squad.

The match has been off to a delayed start though because of rain. Just after the players were all set to begin the 2nd Test match, there was another rain intervention which has delayed the proceedings. However, the good news is that play is likely to start at 11:45 am local time with 79 overs to be bowled today.
